Shavuot

Shavuot

Tomorrow will be the 7th Sabbath

Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:

The next day (a Genesis 1st Day) our modern Sunday

Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto YHWH.

Some may observe Shavuot the day after next Sabbath depending on various variant factors.

But it is certain we are to count 7 Sabbaths not 7 Tuesdays or 7 Thursdays, etc. – This is based on a fallacy that Abib 16 is even mentioned let alone commanded in Scripture.

  1. Can you kindly offer any objective scriptural evidence to support your position that the Omer count commences on the Weekly Sabbath rather than the Annual Sabbath (Aviv 15)?

      • Thank you and I acknowledge and appreciate your response . In deference to same can you share any objective scriptural evidence or any other significant testimony that the Omer count commences the day after the Weekly Sabbath or in the alternative the Omer count commences the day after the Annual Sabbath (Aviv 15). Have a Blessed Sabbath!

  2. Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto YHWH.

As I said – Please agree with Torah – Does this look like 7 Tuesdays or?

    Any alteration is your own

    Believe Yah’s Torah – Sabbath/Shavout Esteem
