Mat.1 & 2 in Review

Mat.1 & 2 in Review

YHWH has impressed that I re-read the New Testament / New Covenant 1ce again to catch and bring out (to bring up) many issues that are being called into question in this latter time. Starting with Mat.1.
*
Mat 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of [YHWH] appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost [Set-Apart Spirit]. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name [Yahshua]: for he shall save [Gen 49:18] his people from their sins. 22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of [YHWH] by the prophet [Isa 7:14], saying, 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, [Elohim] with us.

*Note ‘JESUS’ – ‘J’; Hebraically, Greek or even in English before the 1600’s is an impossible word

Mat 2:6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
*
Gen.49:10 building on Gen.3:15 is that original Melkizedeq Messianic prophecy
*
Gen 1:26 And [Elohim – plural] said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Pro 30:4 … what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?)
*
Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed (the serpant’s :14) and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
*
Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh [Messiah] come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
*
Prv 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?
*
Isa 7:14 Therefore YHWH himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (being interpreted is, [Elohim] with us).
*
Note – Gen.1:1 to Ex.24:11 is the Melkizedeq portion of Torah – Matthew of the NT deals with the Melkizedeq renewal brought by the coming of Messiah Yahshua.

“Therefore [YHWH] himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14). “[A]lmah [Heb. עַלְמָה] [n.]: young woman, a virgin” (Strong’s Hebrew, 5959; from http://biblehub.com/hebrew/5959.htm). The word “almah” does mean “young woman,” but it also means, “virgin,” as seen here. The word “almah” comes from a root word “alam” (Heb. עָלַם) (v.), which means “to conceal” (cf. 5956). Some translate “almah,” as “[a] concealed one.” Therefore, there is no reason to believe that “almah” in OT usage means anything other than a virgin; the surrounding contexts of the following passages bear this out: Genesis 24:43; Exodus 2:8; Psalm 68:25; Proverbs 30:19; Song of Solomon 1:3; and, 6:8. The sister of this prophecy is in Isaiah 9:6, 7. It is interesting that there is dispute as to why there is a closed “mem” (Heb. ם) in the middle of the phrase “of the increase” in verse 7. (עלמה / עלםה – almah) The ם in Hebrew symbolized a closed womb.
