Hebrews Thru Melkizedeq Eyes 2
Heb 7:1 ¶ For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high [Yah], who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of [Yah]; abideth a priest continually.
4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. (That should settle the age old question – The Net or the Gross – It was not all Abraham had)
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, (Levitical Book of the Law that came after the Melkizedeq Covenant breach of Ex.32) that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better. – The Levites thru Abraham are bless by the greater Melkizedeq
11 ¶ If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
The Melkizedeq Book of the Covenant (Ex.19:5 thru 24:8-11) was Not received by the Levitical priesthood there was no such thing at that time
However this does Torah include – Ex.24:12 and on, Ex.32 the Cov’t breach, which brought on the loss of the Melchizedek Priesthood – (‘IF’ Ex.19:5-6) , the physical non-Circumcision, that extended for 40yrs to include, the formation of the Levitical/Aaronic Priesthood Ex.40:13-15, that extended to the Levitical Priesthood Num.3:12, and the formation of its added laws (Gal.3:19/Heb.7:11/Ezk.20:24-25), the giving of tzitizits at Num.15:38, and the consummation and giving of the Book of the Law at Dt.31:26, and even Jos.5:2 the 2nd command to physically Circumcise, as evidenced by Jos.5:5
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
A return/reversion back to the pre-Ex.24:12 – Melkizedeq breach/brake standard
13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. – Only Levites were to be Priests Num.3:12
14 For it is evident that our Master sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. – Only Levites were to be Priests Num.3:12
15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
Heb 7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. – Ps 110:4; Heb 5:6,10; 6:20
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto [Yah]. Eph.2:12
20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest: 21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by **him that said unto him**, YHWH sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:) – Ps.110:4
Heb 7:28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity (ie subject to death); but the word of the oath (Ps.110:4), which was since the law (Num.3:12), maketh the Son, who is consecrated (ie perfected) for evermore.
Heb 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: (after the breach of the first covenant – This does Not include/validate Rabbis)
*6 But now (2000yrs ago) hath he (Yahshua) obtained a more excellent (Melkizedeq) ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was (past tense) established upon better promises.
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
‘had been faultless’ – because of the people – – the second ie the New Covenant
Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith [Yah], when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith [Yah].
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith [Yah]; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a Elohim, and they shall be to me a people: compare to Jer 31:31-33
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know [Yah]: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. – comparable to Jer 31:34 speaking of the future millennial reign which obviously has not happened
Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant (Jer.31:31-33/Lk.22:20), he hath made the first (that was broken) old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. – This happened 2000yrs ago
