The Book of Enoch
MELCHIZEDEK =”king of righteousness”
While Melkizedeq is allegedly mentioned in The Book of Enoch it is a confusing collage of opposing concepts that do not track the Bible.
1. And the wife of Nir (allegedly Noah’s brother), named Sopanima, being barren, brought forth no child to Nir. 2. And Sopanima was in the time of her old age, and on the day of her death she conceived in her womb, and Nir the priest did not sleep with her, nor knew her from the day that the Lord appointed him to serve before the face of the people. … v:19-22 ‘conceived’ Melchizedek
The Book of the Secrets of Enoch, Appendix, pgs 88-92
“on the day of her death she conceived” ??? and then goes on to give birth ??? – I mean really? I’m sorry; but in what universe would this make sense?
2 Enoch for reconstruction of beliefs in antiquity. We find two versions of a strange story of Melchizedek in the manuscripts of this work. He is born posthumously of Sophanim, wife of the priest Nir, and his mother conceived him in her dotage (declining years) without intercourse. The precocious infant looks like a three-year-old child and begins to speak immediately. **He is made a priest by his family** and is later taken to the Garden of Eden (“Edem”) by the archangel Michael.
This is whack all by itself – And does Not track the Bible that tells us;
Heb 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of [Yah]; abideth a priest continually
Tho freely stated and directly asserted there is no concrete verbiage of proof. Tho promised, talked about and referred to by scholars and pressed in with assurances – trying to find confirmed evidence that The/ Book of Enoch mentions (let alone proves) a mention of Melchizedek is frustratingly allusive.
This confuses the situation in that there does seem to be a difference between The Book of Enoch, The Book of the Secrets of Enoch and BOOK OF ENOCH where there is no confirmed direct mention of Melchizedek in all 108 chapters
Some even divide The Books of Enoch into 3 parts – “Full text of “All the books of Enoch (Enoch 1, Enoch 2, Enoch 3)” but there is no mention (confirmed by word search) of Melchizedek in all 108 (or 109) chapters

Col.2:16 ¶ Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the **new moon**, or of the sabbath days:
Who was Paul warning against? This would include many opposing groups.
