What day is Passover?

Well here we go again

Pursuant to – http://sightedmoon.com/the-last-supper/ – With the e-mail prologue;

Quote – “Once again in the news this week are events that relate directly to the “Covenant made with many” referring us to the Daniel 9:27 prophecy. How many of you are on the wrong side and do not even know it. If you have not yet watched ‘The Great Enlightenment of mankind’ then I urge you to do so quickly. You can find it on our media page.

We have not yet heard if the barley is going to be Aviv or not. So we still do not have a date for Passover or the Days of Unleavened Bread. This weekend go out on Sunday evening and sight the moon. Practice doing this. Because of the barley and because of the sighting of the moon to begin the month; this is the very reason “No man can know the day or the hour of the coming of the Messiah’. It is just impossible to know. And at the same time we do know because we keep the Holy Days which tell us when He is to come. Yehshua and the Apostles kept all the Holy Days but most who say they follow Jesus do not even though He did.

In past years some people have managed to keep the Passover on the wrong day. Why does this not surprise me? So this week we are going to show you verse by verse from your own bible when the Passover is. It is only a few modern day Ephramites who have out thought themselves who keep the Passover on the 13th of Nisan contrary to what the Torah actually says. We are to keep Passover after the 14th as the 15th begins. So we will explain this in detail so that you can understand. The 14th is the Preparation day for the Passover.

Those that will not read have no advantage over those that cannot read- Mark Twain.

The Ultimate ignorance is the blind charged rejection of any issue; coupled with the arrogant absence of correct knowledge which refuses to investigate what is known little or nothing about” Dr. David Perry ThD.” Quote – UnQuote

Alas Sighted Moon cannot be singled out concerning the Torah error of an Abib 15 Passover – There are plenty of other Presenters, Teachers – Rabbinic and Messianic (et.al) doing, teaching, defending the same error.

  1. By Joseph Dumond @ I find it amazing to know that there are no Jewish groups that kill the lamb at the end of the 13th day as you suggest. We also have no groups in history until recent years that even suggested such a thing. Could it be that you have this understanding wrong and need to change your position.

    As I have quoted you in saying
    The Ultimate ignorance is the blind charged rejection of any issue; coupled with the arrogant absence of correct knowledge which refuses to investigate what is known little or nothing about”

    I would urge all those who are confused on this issue to read the entire article first before commenting. http://sightedmoon.com/the-last-supper/

    My Response

    Joseph Dumond @ I find it amazing to know that there are no Jewish groups that kill the lamb at the end of the 13th day as you suggest.

    Mt 15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of Yah of none effect by your tradition.
    7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
    8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
    9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

    Joseph – I find it odd that you appeal to a group of people that are openly known (and that by Yahshua no less) to;

    – teach for doctrines the commandments of men.

    I would have thot your 1st appeal would be to rely on Torah scripture –

    But then that is of no support to you

    @We also have no groups in history until recent years that even suggested such a thing.

    that even suggested such a thing – Oh such as actually keep Torah the way Torah says it?

    Jer 6:16 Thus saith YHWH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls…

    The rest of the verse?

    Jer 6:16 … But they said, We will not walk therein.

    Much as you are saying

    @Could it be that you have this understanding wrong and need to change your position.

    Could it be that you – Appealing to no scripture in your opening post to me – Should actually look at the evidence of Ex.12 and Lev.23?

    Ac 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with **all readiness of mind**, and searched **the scriptures daily**, whether those things were so.

    @ As I have quoted you in saying
    The Ultimate ignorance is the blind charged rejection of any issue; coupled with the arrogant absence of correct knowledge which refuses to investigate what is known little or nothing about”

    Torah has all the evidence you need – You should have listened.

    Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

    Joseph – You must have forgotten – You commented on a radio show with Jono Vador and I – in that show I delineate that the 14th at aprox. ‘midnight’ the Death Angel passed over – hence *Passover* they were to stay in their dwellings ’till morning’ still the 14th – The same dwellings they were to put the lambs blood on – to be passed over by the then coming Death Angel – Here’s my quote you in agreement commented on – “Where’d they get the Blood” – It had to be the evening beginning of the 14th (night before day) and Not the 15th as you and errant Jews and others not following Torah suggest.

    @I would urge all those who are confused on this issue to read the entire article first before commenting.

    I would urge all those who are confused on this issue to read Torah in view of actually obeying Ex.12, Ex.23 and Lev.23 and weighing that against;

    https://torahwithoutrabbinics.wordpress.com/…/torah…/

    https://torahwithoutrabbinics.wordpress.com/…/passover…/

    https://torahwithoutrabbinics.wordpress.com/…/yahshuas…/

    https://torahwithoutrabbinics.wordpress.com/…/melkizede…/

    And – factor that in to reading the entire article first before commenting.

    All that I am appealing to and asking you and the readers to be honest about, is what Torah actually says – Comparing that with what Yahshua actually did Lk.22:7-20 – Before His Crucifixion on Abib 14th .

    Let Yah’s Word be True.
