Yom Teruah is almost here. It is the 1st day of the 7th month Appt’d Time from Lev.23:24 – itself a Rosh Codesh (New Moon) ‘head of the month’ – which has to be sighted; then declared is already on our calendars as 9.5.13 not as Yom Teruah but as the erroneous Rosh HaSannah – Not of Ex.12:2 but of the error imagination of the Jewish Rabbis as Lev.23:24 complete with no Hebrew Verbiage to suggest ‘Head of the Year’
Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel , saying , In the seventh month , in the first day of the month , shall ye have a sabbath , a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation .
As opposed to;
Ex 12:2 This month shall be unto you the – **beginning ** <rosh> – of months : it shall be the first month of the – **year** <shannah> – to you.
This imagination of the Jews & Rabbis bought into by most of the world; Lay people, the Christian Church including Messianic; foisted on the planet; hides the significance and thereby hijacks the meaning of the day we should be focusing on.
The 1st day of the 7th month like any 1st day of the month has to be sighted – therefore no man knows the day or the hour. The significance is that this is the only declared from Lev. Feast of a 1st day of any month. Meaning that this 1st day of the 7th month is the Appt’d Time/Feast that ‘no man knows the day or the hour’.
Mt 25:13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
Instead of ‘whelp no one can know’ – Yahshua as good as gave us an exact day of His return – Yom Teruah / The Feast of Trumpets / The Day of Blowing – The 1st day of the 7th month.
1Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The Jews & Rabbis don’t believe in Yahshua or that He ever came the 1st time or Him being Melkizedeq High Priest; sporting a ‘He hasn’t come so nothing has changed’ Levitical mindset. So – its not surprizing that they would deny the significance and seek to and/or blindly cover up Yom Teruah with a non Ex.12:2 Rosh HaSannah.
Sadly most Messianic/Hebrew Roots, etc. have this same ‘nothing has changed’ Levitical mindset.
