14 days before Passover

RoshHaSha

14 days before Passover

Ex.12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Virtually ignored this the <Rosh Chodesh> (New Moon) 14 days before Passover it is the first day of the first month – ‘beginning’ is the Hebrew <Rosh>; ‘year’ is the Hebrew <Shaunah> – This is the true and only ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’ in Torah – Yet it is ignored.

The false Rabbinic/Judaic ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’ is purportedly from Lev.23:24

Lev. 23:24 Speak <dabar> unto the children <ben> of Israel <Yisra’el>, saying <‘amar>, In the seventh <sh@biy`iy> month <chodesh>, in the first <‘echad> day of the month <chodesh>, shall ye have a sabbath <shabbathown>, a memorial <zikrown> of blowing <t@ruw`ah> of trumpets, an holy <qodesh> convocation <miqra’>.

As you can see with the Hebrew inserted the ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’ verbiage is not there. Yet most of the 4,560,000 results (that’s 4.56 million) of a Google search attests to swearing how biblical it is sighting Lev. 23:24 of which no ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’ verbiage can be found!!???

Yet the world has been taught this whoee for centuries via the Jewish Rabbis and Religious Judaism in general inclusive but not limited to Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Karaite, etc. – Which most Messianic, Hebrew Roots, Messianic Israel, Torah Observant (wink wink) etc. buy into including the Christian Church.

Actually the false ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’ of Lev. 23:24 is a cover-up of another important day; Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets. Yom Teruah is the 1st day of the 7th month. What is so very significant of this <Rosh Chodesh> (New Moon) is that Yahshua did say;

Mt 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows…” (Mk.13:32)

Each of the 12 New Moons has to be sighted no one knows for sure until they are sighted. The 1st day of the 7th month Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets is Highly Significant for it is the only mow`ed (feast) that has to fall on this sighted moon of which – no man knows the day or the hour. But it is hidden by the assertion of the false ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’

So instead of throwing up our hands and thinking no one can know – Yahshua was likely identifying the very time that we wait for – Yom Teruah but its importance is being hidden – as in the scrolls, bowls, vials and trumps of Revelation. Hidden by the usurping masquerade of the false ‘Rosh ha Shaunah’ imagination.

There are supposedly four Jewish new years specified in Mishnah Rosh Hashanah 1:1 (not Bible/not Torah) they are 1 Tishri, 15 Shevat, 1 Nisan, and 1 Elul. All of which carry the pagan month names from Jewish Babylonian captivity not found in Torah. Nisan was in the pantheon of pagan gods and fertility goddesses, which hides the only name given in Torah for any month – Abib (or Aviv – Ex.13:4; Dt.16:1).

These other new years are supposedly supported by non-Torah and in some cases extra Beyond Scripture (not Bible) literature. The point is; you cannot use anything non-Torah to redefine Torah to another conclusion!!!

Dt.4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of YHWH your Elohim which I command you.

So when the evening of 3-11-2013 (or Abib 1) comes (give or take) Happy Biblical Rosh ha Shauna. Then on Abib 14 – Happy and Blessed Passover.

This is pursuant to a question posed on FaceBook

Why is it we don’t see more gifts of the spirit?

My response – Shalom to all

I will submit a major (I suspect) reason why we don’t see more gifts of the spirit.

It is not enough to be sweet hearted for the heart is desperately wicked – It is not enough to be knowledgeable in our own deceit. It is not enough to claim to be Bible or Torah observant then follow the Rabbis, Pastors, Reverends, Torah Teachers, etc. – That claim Covenant Observance – while practising Religious Adherence – ignoring the words of Moses (even Yahshua) for Rabbinics, Pastorics, etc.

Completely ignoring the Melchizedek Priesthood for a Levitical Priesthood mindset via a Pharisaic/Rabbinic mindset – discernment is stated/claimed – But – arrogance in ignorance is what is unawaredly realized and accepted – The definition of deceived.

What is claimed/prayed for is revival – restoration; BUT there is no change – there is no repentance to follow the Word of Yah as given thru Moses – what we settle for is regurgitation – to a supposed earlier point of presumably lesser error – “and the people love it to be so” – which is then perpetuated.

Jer 23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
Jer 23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
Jer 23:23 Am I a God at hand, saith YHWH, and not a God afar off?
Jer 23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith YHWH. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith YHWH.
Jer 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
Jer 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
Jer 23:27 Which think to cause my people to ***forget my name*** by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal (or Lord or Adonai, haShem, etc.)
Jer 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith YHWH.
Jer 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith YHWH; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?
Jer 23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith YHWH, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
Jer 23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, saith YHWH, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.
Jer 23:32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith YHWH, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith YHWH.
Jer 23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of YHWH? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith YHWH.
Jer 23:34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of YHWH, I will even punish that man and his house.
Jer 23:35 Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath YHWH answered? and, What hath YHWH spoken?
Jer 23:36 And the burden of YHWH shall ye mention no more: for every man’s word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living Elohim, of YHWH of hosts our Elohim.
Jer 23:37 Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath YHWH answered thee? and, What hath YHWH spoken?
Jer 23:38 But since ye say, The burden of YHWH; therefore thus saith YHWH; Because ye say this word, The burden of YHWH, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of YHWH;
Jer 23:39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
Jer 23:40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Thank you for raising the question – something to seriously ponder

On-the-Melchizedek-Priesthood

Image

This is part of the discussion I had with Jono Vandor (of Now Dubious – Truth2U) and Jason Spiritualbabies on Melchizedek pursuant to

http://www.truth2u.org/2013/02/jono-jason-the-melchizedek-priesthood.html

Jono Vandor (said) – Indeed the Canaanite’s worship of El Elyon was corrupted, and it was this corruption that Melchizedek was likely priest of, hence Abram’s qualification, identifying the most high God that he (Abram) worships as YHVH, as opposed to Melchizedek’s concept of El Elyon. By the way, the text indicates that Melchizedek gave Abram a tenth of all, not the other way around.

Drdave Perry Shalom Jono

You are suggesting that the Melchizedek of Gen.14 was pagan or at least priest of this assertion of ‘corruption’ . The text shows otherwise –

Ge 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and **he was the priest of the most high God**.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be **Abram of the most high God**, possessor of heaven and earth:
20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he (Abram/Abraham not Melchizedek) gave him (Melchizedek) tithes of all.

We have already established that Gen.14:22 and others firmly identifies El ’Elyōn with Yahweh

YHWH states

Ho 4:6 ¶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that **thou shalt be no priest** to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

If Yah is not the author of confusion and changes not; the Melchizedek of Gen.14 was NOT pagan or corrupt.

Your assertion that “Melchizedek gave Abram a tenth of all, not the other way around” is also erroneously incorrect

It was Abram/Abraham that Gen 14:16.. brought back all the goods.. -This is confirmed at

Heb 7:4 Now consider how great this man (Melchizedek :1) was, unto whom even the patriarch **Abraham gave** the tenth of the spoils.

Jono – you have reversed and questioned many of the ‘norms’ – do you still believe Yahshua to be the only begotten Son of YHWH – Mashiach – Saviour – Melchizedek – Covenant Mediator? And His New Testament/Covenant?
(This added – of which he never did answer directly or fully)

Shalom

Jason SpiritualBabies 18. And Malchizedek the king of Salem brought out bread and wine, and he was a priest to the Most High God.
19. And he blessed him, and he said, “Blessed be Abram to the Most High God, Who possesses heaven and earth.
20. And blessed be the Most High God, Who has delivered your adversaries into your hand,” and he gave him a tithe from all.

This verse speak ABOUT MLCHZDK…

18. And Melchizedek the king of Salem brought out bread and wine, and HE was a priest to the Most High God.
19. And HE (MCZDK) blessed him (Abram), and HE (MCZDK) said, “Blessed be Abram to the Most High God, Who possesses heaven and earth.
20. And blessed be the Most High God, Who has delivered your (Abram) adversaries into your(Abram) hand,” and HE (MCZDK) gave him(Abram) a tithe from all.

the HE is always Melchizedek… the him is always Abram, in this set of verses.

Often, relying on a christian bible.. especially when the context is wholly hebrew.. will not deliver ‘definition’… but doctrine.

Drdave Perry Shalom Jason

So your saying Paul / the New Testament was wrong?  I don’t think you realize that you have just demonstrated that Abraham got everything – the blessing AND the tithe.  Huh??? So what did Melchizedek get – Nothing?

Heb 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch **Abraham gave** the tenth of the spoils.

You need to read verses  Gen.14:13,14,15, & 16 and tell me who ‘he’ is referring to? And remember there were no chapter and verse breaks in the original text..

Shalom

Jason SpiritualBabies I am reading the text from the hebrew.. word by word.. Abram is the target of the direction.. perhaps there are translational or doctrinal issues with some areas of the NT? or perhaps with some translations..

.. but it seems clear, at least in the original hebrew.. the foundation of all scripture.. the beginning of all bibles.. on which our whole walk relies…..

He (MCZDK) was ‘doing’ and him (Abram) was not.

But.. we are all free to interpret as we see fit..

Drdave Perry Shalom Jason

The brass tacks are that

Ge 14:16 And he (Abram/Abraham not Melchizedek) brought back all the goods,
Ge 14:20 … And he (Abram/Abraham not Melchizedek) gave him (Melchizedek) tithes of all

This is the whole verse and the tho’t (thought) transfer

Ge 14:20 (from Melchizedek v:18-19) And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered (the transfer of tho’t) **thine** (Abraham’s) enemies into (the transfer of tho’t) **thy** (Abraham’s) hand. And he (Abraham) gave him (Melchizedek) tithes of all.

Abram/Abraham ‘he’ brought back all the goods not Melchizedek

So if Melchizedek paid a tenth of all – all of what?

To suppose that Melchizedek paid the tenth to Abraham is to say that ‘all the goods’ were some how either retrieved by, transferred to or given to Melchizedek so that he would have ‘a tenth’ of something to give (either supposition is not supported by the text)

If this was so Melchizedek then kept the 90% and paid the tenth; of Abraham’s retrieved/stolen goods? (again an inverted reversal supposition not supported by the text)

So my friend;

Ge 14:16 And he (Abram/Abraham not Melchizedek) brought back all the goods,
Ge 14:20 … And he (Abram/Abraham not Melchizedek) gave him (Melchizedek) tithes of all
Supported by
Heb 7:4 Now consider how great this man (Melchizedek :1) was, unto whom even the patriarch **Abraham gave** the tenth of the spoils.

Is true and correct

Heb 7:7 And without all contradiction the less (Abraham) is blessed of the better (Melchizedek)

Melchizedek did the Blessing not Abraham; Abraham did the Tithing not Melchizedek
